01.Private Insurance Program
Explore how TCS supports clients with existing private insurance coverage, accessible psychotherapy services through your benefit plan, and guidance on using your coverage to get the help you need.
02.Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB)
The NIHB program provides eligible First Nations and Inuit clients with coverage for mental health counselling. If approved, sessions may be fully covered and billed directly to NIHB, so you do not have to pay upfront. No doctor’s referral is usually required, and our team can help confirm your eligibility and guide you through the process.
03.Indian Residential Schools (IRS RHSP) Program
The Indian Residential Schools Resolution Health Support Program - IRS RHSP provides eligible former Indian Residential School students and their family members with access to culturally sensitive mental health and emotional support services. Approved counselling sessions are fully covered and billed directly to the program, with no upfront payment required.
04.Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP)
The IFHP provides eligible refugees and refugee claimants with access to fully funded mental health services. Clients can receive culturally sensitive, trauma-informed counselling for concerns such as trauma, displacement, anxiety, depression and adjusting to life in Canada, with no upfront payment required. 05.Veteran Affairs Canada (VAC)
Veterans Affairs Canada provides eligible Veterans, Canadian Armed Forces members and RCMP members with coverage for mental health services. Approved clients can access confidential, trauma-informed counselling for concerns such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and adjusting to civilian life, with sessions billed directly to VAC.
